MARGIELA UNCOVERS SUNGLASSES
The first time into glasses for Martin Margiela is quite an event.
The J. D. Salinger of the fashion world, who refuses to be photographed and can only be interviewed by fax, famous for the extreme care and discretion with which he starts a new collection - notoriously, his first Men’s Collection has seen the light only 10 years after the opening of the House - has recently given birth to a sunglasses collection [scroll until the bottom of the page].
Christened “Incognito” because of their photo-scandal flavour, they look perfect for Daft Punk’s Electroma or in a furious live act of the japanese “technicolor pogo punk” band Polysics.
