In 2004 Slam Jam enters the retail world.
The first flagship store opens in Ferrara, the historic home of the company (or where the HQ is based), and only after one year Slam Jam double the experience in Milan.
A second flagship store, whose architecture is japanese driven, opens there, in Navigli area.
The carping selection of products, with a special focus on Japan and Usa, has a high stylistic profile and expresses that fine taste that reflects the innovative and always researching mind behind the company.
Garments and accessories find a perfect surrounding among strict design of the walls always full of art.
Art in fact, together with music, is one of Slam Jam’s preferred channel to talk to its audience, that’s why the stores periodically host exhibitions of such artists as Kostas Seremetis, Boogie, Will Sweney, Shawn Mortensen, Craig Redman and Jeremyville.
Other fundamental stage of Slam Jam’s retail route is the opening of the very first Carhartt store in Rome in 1998, followed by Milan, Bologna, Verona and Cagliari, and the opening of the Stussy Store in Corso di Porta Ticinese in Milan, in 2001.
When in 2005 digital is starting to be everywhere in communication, Slam Jam takes the chance to release its first namesake online store that is relaunched in 2013 with brand new look and name: slamjamsocialism.com.
