It might be the zeitgeist talking but like the wind our collective mood has shifted. There is a little more freedom in the air as the late afternoon sun hangs high in an April sky. Day trippers, micro-dosers, gummy-nibblers whatever your game is the third summer of love is coming and it's going to be a psychedelic one.
French-Russian Photographer/Director Vadim Kovriga and Slam Jam present a new editorial riffing off cities being quieter than usual and intrepid folk are getting back in touch with nature–there has been a great transitional period that can only be described as a "trip". In Kovringa's own words: ‘After Covid' life is quite different, a lot of people left to live in the countryside, values have changed as well as our relationship to nature."
Shot in a blossoming park in the peak of Spring the shoot features day-glo clothes, organic shapes and flowing carefree silhouettes layered with hyperrealist graphics and color combinations that are inspired by brighter days. The modern city-dweller wears not one but many hats and this shoot features clothing from: Comme des Garcons, Casablanca, Jil Sander, Kiko Kostadinov, Wales Bonner, Acne Studios and many more.
