Wearing Comme des Garçons is a statement. What you communicate through clothing is a choice, and your body is a body of art. After over 50 years of revolutionary practices in products, strategy, retail, visual language and art experiments, Rei Kawakubo’s brand is more than a label - it's a whole world.
This Spring, two of the brand most exposed lines - Comme des Garçons Homme Plus and Comme des Garçons Shirt - narrate the delicate challenge of filling each garment with poetry.
Metallic materials mark the entire Spring '21 collection, taking the form of metal-like shirts peeking out from under jackets, contrasting metallic lapels, or asymmetrical silver patchwork on black, grey or navy suits.
The classic Homme Plus silhouettes and shapes are presented as skinny-leg suits or baggy-short suits. Jackets with uneven hems are combined with slim, cropped trousers, A-line skirts or wide, knee-length shorts.
